How it started
Lumiya-Lumee grew out of a frustration. After years of collecting crystals, our founder kept running into the same problem: gorgeous stones with no story. Where were they mined? Who handled them? Were they even real? Too often, no one could say.
So we set out to build the shop we wished existed, one where every piece arrives with its origin, its meaning, and the assurance that it was sourced the right way. We started small, working directly with a handful of trusted suppliers, and we have kept that hands-on approach ever since.
Today, Lumiya-Lumee pairs natural gemstone jewelry with the wisdom of the zodiac, helping you find the stone that resonates with you, not just the one that happens to be in stock.
Where our stones come from
Our crystals are gathered from regions known for them across the globe, moonstone from Sri Lanka and India, amethyst from Brazil and Uruguay, rose quartz from Madagascar, and more. We choose partners based on how they treat both their people and the earth they work.
Every shipment is inspected and authenticated by hand before it joins the collection. If a stone is not genuine, or it was not sourced in a way we are proud of, it does not make the cut. That is a promise we are happy to keep small for.
